Monmouth School for Girls (formerly known as Haberdashers’ Monmouth School for Girls) is an all-through girls’ school in South Wales, with exceptional academic achievements and reputation. It’s also the only boarding school in the area that offers Laban Guild accredited dance programme – making it an excellent option for students who aspire to become professional dancers in the future! In the ten years before pandemic (2010-2019), A*-B rates in GCE A-levels remained between 70% to 86%, with four years at 80% or better. Starting from the 2018/19 academic year, Monmouth School for Girls is formally adopting the Diamond model together with its sister school Monmouth School for Boys, in which classes in sixth form became co-educational, while boarding houses and pastoral care retained its original single-sex arrangements!
