Founded in 1907, Westbourne House School is a preparatory school with boarding provision from Year 4 to Year 8. Its 100-acre campus is set in rural area near the city of Chichester, south of England, which is about 90 minutes away from London Heathrow airport. It’s rated ‘Outstanding’ – the highest standard grade – in all nine sections in the latest government-approved inspection report (ISI, 2015). The majority of students went on to study in top schools, including boarding schools such as Brighton College, Lancing College, Eton College, Wellington College and more! Currently boarders in Westbourne House School are predominately weekly boarders who won’t be staying in the boarding house during weekends and holidays. Students therefore will enjoy the benefits of an environment with few international students and likely have less vibrant weekends compared to large-scale boarding schools.
