The Landscape Architecture programmes of University of Gloucestershire have the longest running history among programmes accredited by the Landscape Institute (UK), and are ranked the 6th by the Guardian University Rankings (2022)! These programmes are accredited by the Landscape Institute (UK) and students therefore are eligible to pursue HKILA qualification after graduation.

Based in the Francis Close Hall campus in the town centre of Cheltenham, the programmes are studio-based in dedicated studios with industry standard IT software and printing facilities. Only 28% of time will be spent in lectures, for example, in the BA (Hons) Landscape Architecture programmes. In the rest of the time, students will be doing field visits and working on real-life landscape design projects to earn practical experience!
