This seminar is given by Dr Dawn Wilkinson, Programme Manager (Science and Maths) of University of East Anglia (UEA) Pathway Programmes. She will introduce the University of East Anglia (UEA) Pathway Programmes in relation to Science, Technology and Engineering. Course structure, content, options, progression route and entry requirements will be explained in details.
Speaker’s profile: Dr Dawn Wilkinson
Dr Dawn Wilkinson has worked at INTO University of East Anglia (UEA) since 2006 when the pathway programmes were first introduced. She is now the Programme Manager for the Science and Maths Foundation Pathways and also teaches Biology and Human Psychology.
She has an undergraduate degree in Zoology with Animal Ecology. After her Master degree, she moved to University of East Anglia (UEA) to do her PhD on the spread of disease and parasites in rabbits. She then worked as a researcher in the UEA Medical School working on the epidemiology of various human and animal diseases. She has more than 10 years’ teaching experience in the UEA School of Biological Sciences as well as the pathway programmes.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) Pathway Programmes (Science, Technology and Maths) offers Mathematics & Actuarial Sciences, Pharmacy, Health & Life Sciences and Physical Sciences & Engineering International Foundation programmes, as well as a Psychology International Year One programme.
