Tettenhall College is an “all-through” boarding school located in residential area of the Midlands city of Wolverhampton, which is only about 30 minutes from Birmingham. Established over 150 years ago, Tettenhall College now teaches over 400 students, including about 70 boarding students. Over the years, the College has educated a number of notable figures in the political, business and communication sectors, as well as Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Arthur Harden. Academically, A*-B rates in GCE A-levels were between 38% to 64% in the three years before the pandemic (2017-2019), while the overall A*-B rate was at 63% in 2022. Popular destinations include many top universities in the Midlands, such as University of Birmingham, University of Manchester, etc.
