Sherborne School for Girls is a girls’ school in the wealthy and historic town of Sherborne, which has close links with Sherborne School, a traditional top boys school in the area. The two schools collaborate in academic and extracurricular activities, providing exchanges on music and cultural activities. Boarding is a key feature of the whole Sherborne Girls experience, where over 90% of students are boarders. Academic performance is consistently outstanding and A*-B rates in GCE A-levels were between 68% to 81% in the past five years (2015-2019). The majority of graduates were able to continue their studies in one of Russell Group universities, which represents the highest research and academic rigour of Britain.
