Royal Hospital School is a traditional and well disciplined boarding school situated in the delta area in the East of England. Established in 1712 to provide education to children of seafarer of the Navy, it’s also historically known as “the Cradle of Navy”. The School is home to a RYA-accredited sailing school where everyone enjoys the fun of sailing. When participating formal and ceremonial occasions, students wear formal navy uniforms provided by the School reflecting a strong tradition. Of the 700 students currently in the School, over half are full boarders. Academic work is good with about 50% to 64% of students achieving A*-B in GCE A-levels in the past few years (2016-2018), while they continue to thrill in sports and music.
