Oxford Brookes University (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Other Subjects)

Set in Oxfordshire, Oxford Brookes University is one of the polytechnics that were granted university status in 1992. The university is most famous for subjects such as Tourism & Hospitality Management, Building & Surveying and Architecture. Starting from 2018/19, the University will accept international students to its Nursing and Social Work degrees. The University is also offering more January-start options in undergraduate, including disciplines such as Business, Economics, Accounting & Finance, as well as Politics & international Relations.

The world-renowned hospitality school of Oxford Brookes University was named one of the best three hospitality schools in the world in 2016. It’s also one that puts a strong emphasis on hands-on experience, which allows students to take on a year-long paid placement scheme in the UK or other places in the world. In the past, students have done placement in international hotel chains such as Marriott, Hilton and Swire Hotels, while some have also worked with BAFTA, gaining experience in more of a festival management context.

Dr Donald Ridley (Registered Practitioner Psychologist and Associate Dean of Faculty of Health & Life Sciences) and an admissions representative from Oxford Brookes University will attend the event. They will be happy to meet with students and parents individually to answer questions related to Oxford Brookes University and related academic disciplines, covering course content, professional qualifications, career prospects and more!
