Norwich School is a large, historical and academic independent day school in Norwich, which sits next to the Norwich Cathedral right in the city centre of Norwich. One of the Top 100 independent school (2014-2019, 2022-2023), students from Norwich School achieves spectacular results in public exams, with A*-B rates in A-levels between 83% to 86% in the three years before the pandemic (2017-2019), while A*-B rate was at 75% in 2023. According to the latest university destination statistics, the class of 2021 produced four Cambridge students and five medicine students. Durham University was the most popular university, with 18 students getting into, while other popular destinations included Exeter, Newcastle, UCL, Edinburgh, etc.
Norwich School has a large student body of about 900, the majority of which come from local families. In more than 920 years since its establishment, Norwich School has educated many notable alumni. They include Lord Nelson (British flag officer in the Royal Navy in the 18th century), Joe Farman (British scientist who co-discovered ozone hole), as well as many elites who were awarded the Order of the British Empire.

Staying with a Host Family
Although Norwich School once had a boarding house, the School at the moment doesn’t provide full boarding options for students. International students joining Norwich School will stay with inspected host families.
