Lincoln Minster School is a boarding school in situated in the heart of the city of Lincoln, East Minlands. It was formed in 1996 due to the merger of three historical boarding schools. Today the close tie with Lincoln Cathedral remained and the School remained cradle of the choristers in the Cathedral. Music education is therefore a real strength of Lincoln Minster School. The majority of students are member of its school choir, which have collaborated with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, National Youth Orchestra and other national music groups in the past, and even recorded with legendary singer Aled Jones.
Academically, students from Lincoln Minster School achieved a 53% A*-B rate in GCE A-levels 2019. Many continued their education in Oxbridge as well as other Russell Group research-intensive universities, studying a wide range of subjects from music and arts, to medicine and veterinary science, as well as sciences and the humanities.
