Located in suburban area of Reading, Leighton Park School is a boarding school with around 500 students, in which about 20% of them came from overseas. Offering both GCE A-levels and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in sixth form, students from Leighton Park School have performed consistently well in public exams and the majority of them were able to progress onto the universities of their choice. In the three years before the pandemic (2017-2019), A*-B rates in GCE A-levels were between 56% to 62%, while the IB average scores ranged from 30.2 to 35. Aside from academic performance, music education is also a strong area. Leighton Park School is currently Europe’s only Flagship Yamaha Music Education Partner.
