Le Cordon Bleu London
Le Cordon Bleu London is the London campus of world-famous culinary school Le Cordon Bleu, which is long regarded as the guardian of French culinary techniques. Star alumni of the culinary school include master chefs and gourmets such as Julia Child, Giada De Laurentiis and Gastón Acurio, as well as Vicky Lau – head chef of the one Michelin star restaurant Tate Dining Room & Bar in Hong Kong.
In Le Cordon Bleu London, students will be able to study Le Cordon Bleu’s flagship qualification – Grand Diplôme – mastering classic French culinary techniques. In addition to that, Le Cordon Bleu London also offers a range of full-time courses (starts in September, October, March and June) and short courses (starts every month) in cuisine, confectionery and hospitality management.
Beginner’s Courses: Basic Cuisine Certificate / Basic Patisserie Certificate
Le Cordon Bleu London offers both of Le Cordon Bleu’s basic certificates – Basic Cuisine Certificate and Basic Patisserie Certificate. Students studying the Basic Cuisine Certificate would start with basic skills – from how to hold a knife properly, ingredient preparation, to more advanced techniques in using and integrating condiments, herbs and spices in their dishes, as well as handling alcoholic beverages. Full-time courses last three months, with the option of a 7-week intensive programme in summer.
