Aspire Mentorship – Expert Advices for Medical & Dental School Applicants

Aspire Mentorship is a specialist mentorship programme set up by two UK-registered medical doctors with the aim to help students succeed in their medical and dental school applications.

Founders of Aspire Mentorship, Dr Alex Man and Dr Billy Leung, are both graduates from the medical school of Queen Mary, University of London and classmates of the same class. Dr Alex first graduated with a Biochemistry degree with first class honour in Queen Mary, University of London and subsequently applied to the MBBS as a graduate applicant. Dr Billy, on the other hand, started his MBBS in undergraduate. After which he took on dental and a few other medical specialist qualifications. He now works in John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Students joining the two-year mentorship programme will be supported by Dr Alex and Dr Billy individually throughout their sixth form years. Each mentorship programme will be drawn up for each students, depending on their education background and their strength and weakness. So each of them will look a little bit different, but will cover the five essential steps of a medical school application, including university selection, work experience and observership placement, entrance exam preparation (ie. UCAT, BMAT, etc), personal statement coaching, and interview skills.
