October-Entry University Foundation & Diploma (16/17)
Many students may have missed the September start date because of problems with their Ielts and visa application. But it’s not too late yet. The door to University of York (ranked the 15th in the UK), Birmingham (17th), Glasgow (26th), Liverpool (38th), Nottingham Trent (54th) and West of England (73rd) is open in October!
What’s more? Students joining in October will form a class of their own. That way they won’t fall behind study schedules of the class. The majority of these programmes provide “Guaranteed Progression” to their associated universities, upon meeting specific progression grade requriements of their universities.

October-entry programmes include University Foundation & International Diploma, which provide guaranteed progression routes to the 1st and 2nd year of an undergraduate degree respectively upon successful completion.
Form a class of your own – Progress onto a degree programme next September
Instead of joining the September-entry classes like a late-comer, students of October-entry programmes will form a class of their own. The benefit is that they will not miss any important course content and their need will be better taken care of, making sure that they are well prepared for their degrees!

Set in the creative city of Bristol, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) was formerly a polytechnic which was granted full university status in 1992. Employability remains as the heart of UWE Bristol’s education. University of Westminster is located in the heart of London and is formerly the Royal Polytechnic Institution, which was founded in 1838 and was Britain’s first polytechnic institution.
